The presence of a “step” to the side of the base favours a firm grip of tweezers on the mesio/distal surface of the bracket, thus avoiding any interference in positioning; it also promotes the identification and elimination of adhesive excess during bonding phases and makes the engagement of the debonding pliers intuitive. The base is provided with a mechanical retention induced by the enforcement of Zirconia micro ball beads over the 2/3 of the surface in order to ensure the necessary bond strength during the therapy but also allowing for easy and safe removal at the end of treatment. The innovative plasma surface treatment reduces friction in the slot/arch wire interface and enhances the structural integrity of the bracket.
